Conclusion
The project was a great success, and in a short period of just six days we managed to complete
most of our aims with the limited materials and tools available. We also
built up a great bond with the people of the village and it was a real encouragement to work
amongst the children, who all wanted to go to the school to improve their education.
Working at altitude is an odd experience and many a time did one of us lift a hammer above
our heads only to feel a little giddy. And the 200 yard walk up to the school always seemed to leave us short
of breath. It definitely added an edge to the work we did.
The village development committee

All project work in the village was done in conjunction
with the Village Development Committee, and the local people
joined in and helped out whenever they could. It was a real privilege to be a part of their community.
